Movimientos sociales: una reflexión para la enseñanza de las ciencias sociales

Abstract

La acción colectiva y los movimientos sociales han significado baluartes del cambio social, y en algunas ocasiones han contribuido a la construcción de instituciones participativas y democráticas en la realidad mundial. Pese a ello se detentó que en México y en algunos países de América Latina parecería que existe un aparente desinterés en la enseñanza de estas temáticas motivo por el cual con el presente artículo se busca dar a conocer los avances de una investigación en proceso sobre las instituciones de Educación Superior en las latitudes objeto de esta investigación que incluyen en sus currículos estas materias.

Abstract: Collective action and social movements have constituted a bastion of social change and have sometimes contributed to the construction of the world's participatory and democretic institutions. Nevertheless, research has shown that in Mexico and certain Latin American countries, there is an apparent lack of interest in the teaching of these subjects. This article therefore seeks to publish the progress of a research project in process on Higher Education Institutions in the areas studied in this research that include these subjects in their syllabuses.
